Cookies

Well this past week I was asked to make some cookies and other food for a sweet 16 party. I think I am going to ban sweets from our house for a while since I think we ate way too many of the mess up cookies and sweets! I guess someone had to test them out right?

These are the bouquets that they made with the cookies. I think this was one of the last ones they made, that is why there are not as many flowers

Trunk or Treat!

Our Church's trunk or treat party was last Friday. I thought I would post some pictures of the kids. Thomas had his friend Sonoma come with us. They had a blast together! They decorated pumpkin sugar cookies, went around in the costume parade, and then went trunk or treating. Thomas dressed up as a lion and Carter dressed up as a Tiger.

Apple Picking Time!

Well it's that time of year again... our favorite time of year... Apple picking time! We love this time of year so much that we made Friday an official Nielson Holiday. Ryan took the day off and we headed for the orchards. We had so much fun! Here are some pictures...

Ryan got quite the arm work out! We could have got an apple picking basket, but thought it would be more fun this way!

This is how Carter spent the morning. All wrapped up...Asleep.

Thomas loved running down the rows of trees. Since we went on a Friday, we had the place to ourselves!

I wish I had sound effects for this picture. For those of you who know, Thomas makes quite a lot of noise when he eats something he likes. So you could always tell where he was by his humming! Our wagon had some issues.

The apple cider and apple cider doughnuts might had been the best part.

Bath and Bed Time at the Nielson's

Carter has gotten so big over the past few weeks. Here are a few pictures of him and Thomas getting ready for bed. Carter loves taking a bath. It is the one thing that will always calm him down. Thomas loves his glow in the dark Halloween pajamas. When he put them one this one night he begged me to take some pictures of him.
