Well it has been a while since I have posted pictures! I thought that I would share some of the recent pictures that we have taken of Thomas. Thomas' favorite thing right now is to be outside. He loves going on walks and playing at the playground. He likes it best when we let him pick where he wants to go as we walk around our complex. He walks up and down the sidewalks, stopping to examine the grass, bugs, trees, and anything in his path. He screams and shouts when it is time to go back inside.
Now that it has finally warmed up, Thomas has discovered that he loves being outside. Last weekend, we bought Thomas a little picnic table and slide. He loves sitting at his little table. Sometimes he will just sit there, not doing anything else and just laugh and giggle. He also likes to play in the dirt. I have some pots that have dead plants from last year on our porch, which provides hours of digging fun!
Every morning while I make breakfast, Thomas usually hangs out with Ryan while he gets ready. Yesterday, I think Thomas was hungrier than usual because he took a bite out of Ryan's deodorant. On the back of the container it said to call poison control immediately if swallowed. It turns out that there were no dangerous chemicals in this brand and he was just fine. However, I am a little concerned because I think he liked the deodorant more than he liked the pancakes I made!
One of our friends gave Thomas a geotrax train set. At first, I thought that it would be too old for him. However, it is very Thomas friendly! He loves putting the blocks on the train and loves turning the switch on and off. The first thing that he did this morning was go get the basket that had his train in it. He then tried really hard to put the tracks together. This is one of the few toys that he would choose over the remote control and phone!
Thomas is finally starting to venture out and walk without holding on to things. On Thursday night he kept walking back and forth from me to Ryan. He would get so proud of himself when he would make it all the way without falling. He would clap is hands and with a huge smile say, "yeeeeaaaahhh". Very Cute!
The Easter Bunny came after Thomas woke up from his nap. Thomas has finally figured out that there are toys underneath the wrapping paper. It was a lot of fun watching him open his presents! Ryan taught him how to Easter Egg Hunt. Thomas at first did not get it and kept taking the eggs out of the basket as Ryan was putting them in. However, he quickly caught on and followed Ryan around the room to find all of the eggs.
One of the things that was in his easter basket was a Mr. Potato Head. I put some pictures up of him trying to wear Mr. Potato Head's glasses.
