Central Park 8/23/08

On Saturday we drove down to the city and went to Central Park. It was such a nice day! We had a picnic in the park with some friends, and then we walked around to see the sites. We decided to go to the Central Park Zoo. It is a pretty small zoo, but it was perfect size for Thomas. Thomas loved it. He loved seeing the animals and trying to figure out what sound they made. He also loved the Children's petting zoo. I gave him some food to feed the animals and he thought that was so cool. Once we ran out of the food, he would pick up some dirt and try to get the animals to eat it. It was pretty funny.

This is a picture of us watching the sea lions being fed.

This is a picture of Thomas and Ryan looking at the Polar Bear. It was so cute. Thomas would do the sign for Teddy Bear and then say "Meow".

"Oh, come on! Don't you want some of this yummy dirt?"

Riding.... Pushing my New Bike!

My turn to push Dad!

And off he goes.

We call this the evil look. Many people say that he gets that from his Mom.

All of that long hair made him really hot!

So... we gave him a popsicle

Kirkland 7/26/08

On our way back to Michigan, we stopped in Kirkland to see the old Johnson Homestead. We had so much fun on our trip! Thanks Mimi and Papa V!!!!

Cedar Point 7/25

We had a blast at Cedar Point! Ryan has been wanting to go to Cedar Point for a while now, but I thought that it would be too hard with Thomas. However, we found a few rides for him too! He was big enough to go on a few rides by himself. Every time I put him in the seat, I always put him in the back seat. I did not realize that I did this until I looked back at all of the pictures. I guess it is habit! He still had fun.

Waiting with Papa V for the big train!

Riding with Mimi on the train.

Amish Country 7/20-7/22/08

We made it to the Cheese factory while they were still making the cheese. So we got to watch!

The best part is tasting all of the different cheeses.

You can't go to Amish Country without eating a pretzel!

Thomas, Ryan, and Meagan needed a break from shopping.

Grandpa Meyer's House 7/23/08

I think Grandpa's house is in here?

The first thing Thomas found was the M&M jar. I think he had quite a few!!!

Yummmmm!!!!

Ryan was giving Thomas a lesson on how to play the drums.

I love my Mimi!

Give Mimi kisses!
